My name is Chris, I am an accountant who lives in Utah.
How would you define personality? Would it be by your actions or your thoughts and motivations of those actions?
For example, most people read that first line and made some guesses about who I am and what I am like.
- The first point is that I am an accountant, which has some stereotypes that I do fit into and some that I don’t. I love numbers and look at the world with an analytical mindset. Most people become accountants so that they can become rich and rake in that dough! However, I chose to become an accountant for different reasons (although who doesn’t love money?!) You can read more about my reasons for becoming an accountant on the About Me page.
- The second point is that I live in Utah, which is also known as “Mormon-country”. Although, I enjoy living in an environment that is religious, I myself, am not religious. I believe that I should do good things because I want to and not because I fear punishment or seek reward.
I define personality as the reason behind the actions. Actions are important but the intentions behind the actions are the true window into the person.
Other than moving to Utah and becoming an accountant, these actions have defined who I am: became an Eagle Scout, married the love of my life and best friend, and I love to wake up early.
I am just starting this blog and intend to post lots of things soon! Follow so that you don’t miss out!
I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. If you have an idea of something you would like me to write about, please let me know!!
